With an apparent magnitude of 0.026, it is the brightest star in the constellation Lyra and the fifth brightest star in the sky, after Sirius, Canopus, Alpha Centauri and Arcturus. WebNot too rare they have 40 billion year lifetimes, much longer than the Sun. With a relatively wide habitable zone they produce only modest amounts of harmful radiation.
